"The Pilates teacher training was such an incredible experience in every respect! It was great to learn from Lo, who is so knowledgeable of the topic from all angles: her credentials, her movement teaching practice, her teacher trainer practice, but above all, Lo as a person showing up for us with such passion for everything she does. Further, Lo's energy just naturally attracts equally awesome people: it was wonderful to deepen my understanding from an incredible group of other professionals (Iysha for anatomy, Meagan for pelvic floor and pilates, and Megan for business), all nicely wrapped into one intense, fun, methodical, and thorough training! Last but not least, I also felt privileged to study with a great cohort of fellow trainees who all brought their own knowledge, perspectives, talents, passions, and personalities to each training session. I have been taking barre with Lo (as a student) for a couple years now and I keep coming back to her classes every week. During the Barre Affect Method training, I realized that, in addition to the workout itself and its well-structured sequencing, what makes Lo's method unique is her teaching philosophy and ethics.
